I was debating on what to write all day, and I have finally just decided to go with my heart. I heard some heartbreaking news over the weekend. The sweet, adorable baby, Morgan Jane (MJ) has gone to be with God. I would like to share more about her and a good way to start is for you to read about her the first time I wrote about her and her family here. I am so sad for her family, her parents who have been the strongest 2 human beings throughout all of this. Each time I would get an update through their website for MJ, I felt comfort knowing that her family loved her so much every single minute she was here. There was never any doubt how much Morgan was and will always be loved by her amazing family and friends. There is also an article that our paper did on Eric, Katie & Morgan about a month ago. There is a Benefit coming up next month, “The Chubby Bubby Benefit”. I am so honored to be able to contribute to this not only for such a wonderful family, but a cause that I only learned about a short 7 months ago through Katie & Eric. I know that it will be a celebration of Morgan’s life. Her smiles and those cheeks. I decided to post some of my favorite photos of MJ that I took. She was the most antimated little 4 month old. Using her face, her smiles to communicate. I know that she touched so many people’s lives through her short time on earth, but I also know that her parents, through their strong faith, courage and love for their child, have also touched many people too. Morgan will always live on through them and I know, for me, I will remember these chubby cheeks and the contagious smile. All my love to the families of Katie, Eric and Morgan Jane.
