Mackenzie & Andy & some texture fun!

So after finishing up some last minute editing for Mackenzie & Andy before all of their images go in their gallery, I totally realized that this amazing couple was short changed.  By me.  Seriously…how could I have forgotten to post more photos from this awesome wedding!?!  <scream>

There are so many more photos that I need to show from this Omaha wedding.  It was so much fun.  Mackenzie looked absolutely stunning & Andy was seriously such a fun groom.  The wedding party was a blast and by the end of the night I was chatting it up with some of the guests.  I’m even shooting Mallory’s wedding this summer!  (She was at the wedding & saw the slideshow…so I am honored to be photographing their wedding as well).

On another note…I have also been loving my new Totally Rad Lightroom presets that I bought last week!  For all of you photographers that use LR…I highly recommend.  There are some fun things in that group!  I also have the amazing Totally Rad-Dirty Pictures (textures).  Although I’ve never really used a lot of textures before, I’ve decided that I really love them on some photos.  They may be making an appearance on more photos here and there from now on.

These first 4 photos show some of the LR presets and the textures!  Love them!!  Let me know what you think…leave some love at the bottom of this post!  I know Mackenzie & Andy will love it!  You can also watch their slideshow by clicking here.  Enjoy!

I added a texture, then I just left it.  No masking on this one.  I loved it the way it was.  I also used a little bit of the LR presets, a smidge of my own stuff then the texture.

This one just has a couple of the LR presets…no texture.  Loved the way this turned out.

I had some fun with this one.  Normally I don’t like doing this much, but it was fun seeing where I could take it. This has LR Presets, a few minor touches I did in PS & a texture.

This is my favorite.  It looks like an old photo that I could have found in my grandmothers shoe box full of photos.  This has both LR presets & a smidge of my PS work then a texture.  I did mask this a bit on the faces.

And here starts some of my favorites from their day.  These are all edited in Photoshop using a mixture of my touches & some actions.

Total troopers out in the freezing cold!

Wow Leah, this is like my favorite winter wedding. This couple will forever be grateful to you for this photo documentation of their day. I can’t wait (actually, I can) for Kenzie to get married and having you there to capture it all! Love you =]
